Motoscouts

 The MotoScouts program is designed to provide at-risk, Indigenous and disadvantaged youth ages 15 to 24 years with an engaging, automotive skills-based program, coupled with the Scouts Recreational Program, life skills that will increase their likelihood of obtaining and sustaining employment throughout their lives and decreasing the likelihood of incarceration and recidivism. The program will be delivered in Darwin, Batchelor, Katherine and Alice Springs.

A number of opportunities are available for involvement in this program.

MTA

MTA (NT) is running a two year project that will provide disadvantaged youth aged 15 to 24 years with a skills-based program that will increase their likelihood of obtaining and sustaining employment.
 

Project Counsellors X 2 (Darwin/Alice Springs)
You will provide ongoing counselling and mentoring support. Applicants who have networks within schools, youth services, correctional facilities and job network agencies will have a distinct advantage.

 

Project Coordinators X 3 (Darwin/Alice Springs/Katherine)
You will deliver an automotive based training project that provides a real life work environment that can lead to employment pathways. Applicants who have an automotive & training background and understand what employers are looking for, will have a distinct advantage.
